What is YouTube QR Code Generator?
YouTube has three address shapes you will meet. A channel lives at https://www.youtube.com/@handle. A video lives at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VIDEOID, or in the short form https://youtu.be/VIDEOID. The video ID is exactly 11 characters made of letters, digits, hyphens and underscores, so if you only have the ID the tool can build the full link for you.
To get the link, open the video, press Share under the player and choose Copy. For a channel, open its page and note the @handle shown under the channel name, or copy the address from the browser. Playlists have their own list= address and can be pasted too. The code holds a plain link, so on phones with the YouTube app it usually opens there and otherwise in the browser.
Because a video is often shown far from the viewer, the size of the code matters more here than on a business card. A code on a stage screen should occupy a generous part of the slide, with plain contrast and no decoration.

What is a YouTube video ID and where do I find it?
It is the 11-character code after v= in a watch link, or after youtu.be/ in a short link. If you paste the ID alone, the tool builds the full address from it.
How big should the code be on a projector slide?
Make it as large as the layout allows, ideally a quarter of the slide height or more, with dark modules on a white area. Projectors wash out colour, so avoid pale or coloured codes and test from the back row.
Will the QR code keep working if I change the video title?
Yes. The code points to the video ID, which does not change with the title. It stops working only if the video is deleted or set to private.
Can I link to a channel and not a single video?
Yes. Enter the @handle or paste the channel page address. A channel code stays useful over time because new uploads appear on the same page.
