What is Google Review QR Code?

A Google review QR code is a plain QR code that contains one web address: the link that opens the review form for your business. Google itself offers this link in Google Business Profile under Get more reviews, and you can also build it from your Place ID with search.google.com/local/writereview?placeid=.

This tool uses no Google API and does no scraping. It never looks up your business, so it cannot verify that a link is correct; it simply encodes what you paste and lays out the card around it. That is why testing the finished code yourself matters.

The code is static and never expires. If your review link ever changed, you would need to generate a new code. Also remember that Google's policies forbid paying for reviews or selectively asking only satisfied customers, so the card should invite every customer to share an honest opinion.

When should you use it?

• At a restaurant or café, on the receipt tray or table card, to reach customers while the experience is fresh.
• In a shop or salon, at the till or the mirror, with a friendly call to action from the staff.
• For a tradesperson or clinic, printed on the invoice, the business card or the appointment reminder.
• On a delivery bag, packaging insert or van door, where customers see it after the service is finished.
• In hotels and holiday rentals, in the room or the check-out message, to collect guest feedback.

Privacy

This tool runs in your browser. What you type, paste or open is processed on your device by JavaScript and is not sent to our servers, stored or shared. Your data stays on your device.

The link, business name and logo are combined into the code and the card in your browser. Nothing is uploaded and no request is made to Google when you generate the code. Scans are not counted, because the code is static.
