Facebook Page QR Code Generator

Enter your Facebook page name or paste any facebook.com link and get a QR code that takes visitors straight to your page, group or event. It suits shop windows, receipts and flyers where a long address would never be typed. Everything is created in your browser, and the static code does not expire.

You can also paste the full https://facebook.com/… link.

What is Facebook QR Code Generator?

A Facebook QR code encodes one facebook.com address. For a page with a custom username the shape is https://www.facebook.com/PageName. Pages and profiles without a username use a numeric form such as https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1000… , and groups or events have their own paths (facebook.com/groups/… and facebook.com/events/…). The tool accepts a name or the full URL, so any of these shapes will work.

The quickest way to find the link is to open the page in a desktop browser and copy the address bar. In the mobile app, open the page, tap the three-dot menu and choose Copy link. The @username shown under the page name is the part that goes after facebook.com/. Business owners can change that username in the page settings, so check it is the one you intend to print.

Whether the link opens in the Facebook app or in the phone's browser depends on the phone, not on the code. Private profiles and closed groups only show limited content to people who are not logged in or approved, so a public page is usually the better target for a printed code.

When should you use it?

  • On a shop window or door sticker inviting passers-by to follow the page for opening hours and offers.
  • On receipts, table tents or delivery bags so customers can find your page and leave a recommendation.
  • On posters and flyers for a local event, linking to the Facebook event page with dates and updates.
  • On a vehicle wrap or trade-show banner where a long address cannot be read from a distance.
  • In a newsletter or club leaflet that sends members to the community group.

Privacy

This tool runs in your browser. What you type, paste or open is processed on your device by JavaScript and is not sent to our servers, stored or shared. Your data stays on your device.

The page name is turned into a QR code on your device. No request is made to Facebook while you generate the code, and only the public address is stored inside it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I link to a group or an event instead of a page?

Yes. Paste the full address of the group or event (facebook.com/groups/… or facebook.com/events/…) and the code will point to it. Remember that closed groups require an approved account to see their content.

My page has no username. What do I paste?

Copy the full address from the browser; it will look like facebook.com/profile.php?id= followed by digits. It works, but the code is a little denser, so print it slightly larger.

Why does the link open in a browser instead of the app?

The phone decides whether to hand a facebook.com link to the installed app or to the browser. It is a phone setting, not something a static QR code can control.

Is it better to use a QR code or a Like button?

They serve different places. A printed code works offline in shops and on posters where nobody can click, so use it there and keep the button for your website.
